Our story.
We’ve learned a lot in the years since The Team kicked off in 1984 - particularly that you can’t stand still. Today we’re listed as a top 5 creative business, thriving in Southwark, London, where the real life around us helps to define the attitude of our 130-strong team.
How we got here.
One day in 1984, four like-minded creatives started working together in a church hall in Putney, London. What brought us together were shared values which remain true today. Those values – enjoy, sparkling not still, keep it simple, we dance like nobody’s watching – are still deeply ingrained into our culture today.
The Team is a trading name of The Team Brand Communications Limited. Registered in England and Wales (Company Number: 01381015). Our registered office address is 1st Floor, 30 Park Street, London, SE1 9EQ.
Where next.
Our latest change is as part of the market-driving Loewy group. Here, we realise greater possibilities for clients by working in partnership with a range of terrific specialists united in their desire to create step change for clients. The group includes product development specialists SeymourPowell, consumer brand experts Williams Murray Hamm, broadcast brand strategy leaders Branded, retail experience experts Epoch and PR specialists Speed.
No. 1 for integration.
In the 2009 Design Week Top 100, The Team appeared at no. 5 (up from the no. 12 spot in 2008). More significantly, we're the leading integrated business, able to offer specialists independently or together. We have grown consistently in the last five years and this is the first time we’ve joined the top five creative businesses in the UK.
Leading change.
When we started out, the industry was young. Now it’s an engine of the UK economy creating value and driving innovation, and we’ve done our bit in leading professional practice. The key to our success has been knowing how to make our depth of experience relevant to the challenges clients throw in our direction every day, whilst continuously injecting new talent and ideas to help clients realise possibilities they didn’t know existed.
