‘What’s so clever about that then – Disney have been doing it for years’ I hear you say. Well that’s just the point. Disney have, shall we say, slightly larger budgets than the average internal communications bod. What we’ve come up with, with the help of our friends at EDF Energy, is a way of getting the slap around the face response from the viewers on an internal comms budget.
So what’s the point?
You might not need to go to such lengths. If all the messages you have to deliver are seriously riveting there really is no point, but quite possibly some of them aren’t – at least not to the average member of staff. Who can resist slipping on some 3D glasses and being immersed in another world?
If your staff are spread all over the country and busy there really is no better way of grabbing their attention, delivering a message that sticks, and then getting back to work. Blow their minds with a message that’s less than mind-blowing
