The emergence of social media services, and their recent widespread adoption by the mainstream, presents us with a variety of challenges and opportunities. Having a presence on the web rarely ends at having a great website – it’s more important than ever to figure out where your audience is congregating online, and how you can join them there.
The rules of engagement have changed for the better. People are using online tools to share their thoughts, needs and concerns. The same tools help them filter out unwelcome noise. The opportunity is clear; demonstrate that you’re willing to listen and engage with people on their terms and it leads to better business.
