Audience.

Beazley plc rebranded to a fuchsia pink with single line drawing illustrations. The new identity was about as different as it was possible to be from their navy blue, conservative competitors. It conveyed their joined-up – and different – ways of thinking to shareholders and analysts.

Challenge.

We set ourselves the goal of bringing the Beazley annual report up to the standards of the best reporting companies in the UK.

Insight.

Beazely plc wants to be the best. We advised them to use case studies and a Q&A to illustrate their strategy. And we refined a timeline of the company’s history to show how well they’ve managed their business through dramatic events including 9/11 and Hurricane Katrina. We also introduced a quick read section for the skim reader, as well as intuitive navigation throughout the report.

Result.

We’ve now produced four annual reports for the company – each one using fresh ideas to express the brand as it evolves. This year’s 124-page document brings more information and insight for shareholders about the company’s performance and plans. We’ve also created a microsite of the report to allow even greater access to the information.
