Canon Europe contributes around one-third of Canon’s global sales revenue and employs in the region of 11,000 people across Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA). We have been working with them not only to help these 11,000 people communicate through their internal publication but also through their intranet.

Internal communications needed to play a pivotal role in creating a sense of united purpose among all Canon employees across Europe, the Middle East and Africa in order to support Canon’s overall objective of becoming a world-class organisation.

Insight.

Refreshing the magazine to reflect this essence in stories covering products, people and the company’s purpose was our first step in creating a cohesive employee engagement strategy across a multicultural audience, all with varying local challenges.

Result.

This new approach is already driving a much stronger relationship between the ‘Centre’ and the regional offices and is becoming the platform for a ‘world-class’ approach to internal communications.
