Communicating People & Culture initiatives at Coca Cola
Coca-Cola Europacific Partners was formed in 2021 to bring together operations across 29 countries as one united organisation.
Driven by one purpose, its aim is to ‘refresh Europe, the Pacific and Indonesia and make a difference’.
The transformation saw the evolution of HR into People & Culture within CCEP. This significant shift naturally brought about a new People & Culture strategy, along with new focus areas centred around employees.
Although the communication style, tone and approach had not changed, the team was continuing to engage employees as they had in HR.
Our task was to change help change that.
People & Culture had defined a clear strategy, outlining their pillars and global priorities.
What they hadn’t done was clearly communicate what they stood for.
People within Coca-Cola Europacific Partners were often described as the people behind the bottle.
So, we set about shifting this perception, defining a North Star for People & Culture to galvanise all colleagues within the global team behind one clear ambition: It’s what’s inside that counts: our people.
How we did it
The newly clarified ambition of, It’s what’s inside that counts: our people, drove a repositioning for People & Culture.
It centred around three commitments: we create opportunity, we see potential and we grow together.
It was also the catalyst for a revived look and feel for People & Culture, working in alignment to the existing CCEP brand guidelines.
Within the design language of People & Culture, we decided to embrace the power of bubbles! Each bubble represents the energy and potential of CCEP people.
